Full Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
On arrival in Maun, after clearing customs and immigration, collect your luggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. On arrival, after clearing customs and immigration, you will be met and assisted to your scheduled charter flight to Chitabe Main Camp where you will stay for two nights. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon activity.
Day 2
njoy a full day of game viewing activities at Chitabe Camp. Chitabe Camp is located in the Chitabe Concession, which covers 22 000 hectares of pristine Okavango Delta wilderness. This unique area harbours a massive variety of habitats within close proximity giving rise to a surprising diversity of species. The mix of Okavango and Kalahari makes for an excellent home to an abundant array of herbivores: giraffe, buffalo, red lechwe, tsessebe, impala and elephant, which in turn support the larger predators: lion, leopard, spotted hyaena, cheetah and wild dog.
Game viewing tops the agenda here. Morning and afternoon game drives in open 4 x 4 Land Rovers reveal the rich wildlife of the area from predators to prey. While night drives with spotlights allow you to find those nocturnal animals you wouldn’t see during the day such as civet, genet and bushbabies, as well as owls and perhaps leopard.
Walking safaris with skilled, armed guides are wonderful ways of getting close to nature and observing the smaller things you miss when traveling by vehicle. (depending on availability of a qualified guide)
The Kalahari is famous for its clear night skies, and with no light pollution it is the ideal spot from which to view the incredible formations of the stars and planets. Our guides are also known to dabble with astronomy and will take you on a tour through the constellations.

Porcupine, aardwolf, serval, large spotted genet and lesser bushbaby are just some of these.

Seasonal fishing is permitted on a catch-and-release basis. The camp has a small stock of basic rods and reels.
Birding is outstanding here, from Okavango specials to mopane woodland species. The Savute Channel is famous for its high concentration of eagles and raptors; this area is internationally recognised as an IBA (Important Bird Area).
Day 7
After breakfast and a morning activity you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Kasane airport and your scheduled charter flight to Victoria falls. On arrival you will be met by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to Victoria Falls Hotel where you will stay for two nights.
Day 8
After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel by an Alluring Africa representative for your scheduled guided tour of Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. David Livingstone was the first European to visit the Falls, and named it after Queen Victoria. To the locals, it is known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – The Smoke that Thunders – an accurate description of what happens when the waters of the Zambezi River plunge over the 1700 metre wide and 100-metre deep chasm, creating a shower of spray and a deafening noise. From February to May each year, the Victoria Falls are in full flood and 500 million litres of water tumble over the edge into a series of gorges each minute! After a briefing and explanation of the Fall, your guide accompanies you along the 1.7 kilometre scenic pathways of the rainforest, stopping at numerous viewpoints to gaze at the Falls. You will then be dropped off at your hotel where the afternoon will be yours at leisure.
Later in the afternoon, you will be collected from your hotel by an Alluring Africa representative and taken on a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River. Enjoy sundowners and snacks while this tranquil wildlife cruise floats you along the Zambezi River above the Falls. You’ll have the finest vantage point from which to watch hippo, crocodiles and other animals which come down to the river’s edge in the early evening, to slake their thirst. You will be captivated by the sun’s dying rays as they cast a burnt-orange glow which shimmers on the river.
Day 9
After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel by an Alluring Africa representative for your private road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport. Connect with your onward flight arrangements.
