Day 1

Upon arrival into Athens, after completing immigration and customs formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall. Here you will be met by a Luxury Trips representative for your private road transfer to the Grande Bretagne Hotel where you will be staying for four nights.

Athens is an amazing city. Whether it’s your first time visiting or your umpteenth there is always something fresh and new to experience. The city is undergoing a cultural rebirth, rediscovering itself in the process and reevaluating what is important for its people and its future. Regardless of one’s interests and tastes there is something here for everyone. Athens throughout the ages has always been a destination for those wanting a historical experience. With the Acropolis being the city’s natural center and the Parthenon perched above looking to Piraeus and the surrounding mountains, the city is filled with historical remnants of its glorious past.

Day 2

After breakfast you will be collected for your private, Half Day Athens City tour.

This tour perfectly combines the city’s highlights: the city center, the Acropolis and the New Acropolis museum. Your private VIP licensed guide will meet you at your hotel and start with an introduction about the city and its history. A luxury car will transfer you through Syntagma Square and see Parliament, and guards in front of the monument of the Unknown Soldier. Stop in front of the Panathenaic Stadium. Then drive up to Lycabettus hill and enjoy a panoramic view of Athens. Continue downhill to University street and see the Academy, University and National Library. On the way to the Acropolis see the National Gardens and the surviving columns of the Zeus Temple and Hadrian’s Arch. You will be dropped at the foot of the Acropolis. As you begin to ascend the Acropolis hill, a breathtaking view of the city below will unfold. Then you will visit the New Acropolis Museum situated within 10 minutes walking distance from Acropolis Hill. The tour ends at the New Acropolis Museum.

Day 3

After breakfast you will be collected for your private, Full Day Argolis tour.

You leave Athens westwards and you take a scenic drive, along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf. In about one hour and twenty minutes you reach the Corinth Canal where you make a short stop for refreshments and also to admire the Canal which connects the two Greek Seas -The Aegean and the Ionian Sea. Afterwards we head to the Homeric city of Mycenae where you visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Mycenaean Tombs. Third stop is Nafplion, the picturesque first capital of the Modern Greek State, nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. After a 40-minute drive we will reach the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, one of the best preserved classical Greek buildings still used today and famous for its astonishing acoustics. You depart for Athens which is a good two and a half hour drive including a refreshments’ stop on the way. You arrive to Athens in the late afternoon.

Day 4

After breakfast you will be collected for your private, Full Day Delphi tour.

You will arrive at Delphi at around noon after having taken a scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys of olive groves and cotton fields and pass traditional towns such as Levadia and Arachova enjoying breathtaking views of the Greek countryside. In the town of Levadia there will be a stop of half an hour for refreshments.

Your professional licensed tour guide will give you a guided tour of the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Thus you will be introduced to the history of one of the most significant archaeological sites of all antiquity considered by the ancient Greeks to be the navel of the earth. You will see monuments such as the Athenian Treasury, the Theatre, the Temple of Apollo, the Navel of the Earth, the Sacred Way, the Apollo Temple and many more,

In the Museum of Delphi you will admire unique treasures such as the world famous bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos and many other masterpieces of classical Greek art.

Day 5

After breakfast you will be collected for your private road transfer to the Athens airport for your flight to Santorini. On arrival you will be met by a Luxury Trips representative for your transfer to Chromata where you will spend three nights.

Enjoy the evening at leisure to explore the resort.

Santorini is truly unique not only for Greece but for the entire world. This iconic destination is most known for its breathtaking views of the red and brown layers of volcanic ash that make up its famous cliffs. In fact everything seems to be perched on these cliffs from its many boutique luxury hotels to its fabulous restaurants. It’s no surprise that it consistently shows up at the top of lists for the most romantic vacation spots and islands to visit. Santorini is quite far to reach by ferry even the high speed hydrofoil, so it’s best to fly there with a domestic flight.

Day 6

In the morning you will be collected for your Private Sailing Day Tour.

Starting from Ammoudi, sail close to the caldera cliffs passing under Oia, Imerovigli, Fira and Volcano. First stop is at the hot springs for 30 minutes for swimming and mud bath at the warm waters. Towels and snorkeling equipment included. Sailing close to Aspronisi, Akrotiri and Indian rock. Second stop at the White beach for about an hour for swimming, snorkeling and for the barbeque on board. The menu includes local delicacies with meat, salads, fruits and drinks such as Santorinian wine and soft drinks. Last stop is at the Red Beach for swimming and snorkeling for about 30 minutes. Our tour ends at the marina of Vlychada where our minibuses will take you back at your hotel.

Day 7

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be collected for your Santorini Half Day Hiking Tour.

A good place to start your hiking dashes is the long but quite easy path, the favorite of all tourists, that will lead you from Fira to Oia via Firostefani and Imerovigli. It will take you about three hours to reach the end of your destination. The view offered while hiking is excellent and the caldera looks absolutely magical. Do it during the sunset or early in the morning when the sun isn’t yet so hot. The time that it will take you to go to Fira from Firostefani is about twenty minutes or more depending on how many times you stop to admire the view. Many people are seated along the ledge hypnotically staring at the view.

You will start your walk from Patsouli, a blunt point near the cable car station in Fira and follow Nomikou street that leads to Nomikos center. Here, the street is descending, it is very steep and tiring and later on the pavement continues to angle upwards and you reach the second highest point, since the cliffs are rising over 300 meters above the sea level but be patient, the path levels as soon as you reach the church Panagia Agion Theodoron. Then the walk dips inland towards the heart of Firostefani, the church of Agios Gerasimos, the catholic church with the cypresses. From Firostefani you continue your walk towards Imerovigli, one kilometre away. In the middle of that route you will see the convent of Agios Nikolaos with its five nuns. As you approach Imerovigli you will have the opportunity to take a look at its landmark Skaros, the big rock. When you catch your breath move on towards Oia. At some point the road is ascending and it is very tiring especially if it is hot but reaching Oia will compensate you be sure of that let alone the enchanting views. Don’t forget to wear your hiking shoes and hats and take a bottle of water with you.

Day 8

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Santorini port for your ferry cruise to Mykonos. On arrival you will be met for your private road transfer to the Mykonos Grand where you will be staying for the next three nights.

Day 9

This morning you will be collected for your private, Full Day Cruise in Paros and Antiparos.

We depart from Platys Gialos and we head off towards Paros Island, a place of considerable history and tradition. Paros Island figures among the best summer destinations among the Cycladic Islands and combines in a unique and enviable way modern infrastructure with traditional architecture and authentic spirit; is amongst the preferred holiday’s destination in Greece, attracting each year thousands of visitors and famous personalities.

Highlights of Paros:

Naoussa: Naoussa has preserved the feeling of the pristine fishing village it truly is, beautifully mingling with the elegant atmosphere of the modern venue that it has become, with its tavernas and ouzeri.

Kolimbithres: Kolimbithres is an exotic sandy beach with crystal waters and bizarre rocks creating small “swimming pools”. Located in Naoussa’s bay, Kolimbithres is definitely worth a visit.

Paroikia: Paroikia, the capital of Paros, has maintained its picturesque style. Paroikia’s cute harbor, decorated with white houses, is typic al of the Cycladic architecture.

Our next destination will be the island of Antiparos. The charming little island of Antiparos in the insular complex of the Cyclades in Greece is endowed with splendid natural beauty, golden sandy beaches, many places of historical interest and sightseeing.

Highlights of Antiparos:

Agios Georgios: Situated in the quaint village of Agios Ge orgios this beautiful beach is nuzzled in a picturesque sheltered bay offering an exceptional view to the islet of Despotiko.

Despotiko: The uninhabited island of archaeological interest ‘conceals’ very beautiful beaches

After a day full of excitement and new experiences, we go in Naxos port for disembarkation.

Day 10

Today you will be collected for your private Cooking Class in Mykonos.

Your private transportation will pick you up from your hotel and take you to this traditional Mykonian house where you will meet with a local food expert. The house is located in the traditional village of Ano Mera. The hostess will create a charming and intimate ambience and share fascinating stories about the infamous “Island of the Winds” and the life of the locals. She will also talk to you about Mykonian culture and history and make you feel just as if you are visiting close relatives or friends. You will wander through her vegetable garden learn about local organic farming. Afterwards you will proceed to this hands-on experience that will allow you to spend quality time with your friends and family. You will learn how to cook some local traditional dishes and the chef will help you master some of them as she will share with you secrets that usually go from mother to daughter. The best part of the tour is when you get to taste the outcome of your efforts! Sit back and enjoy a lovely Mykonian meal paired with local wine.

You can chose to go on a private, Mykonos Island panoramic tour.

A licensed VIP guide will meet you at your hotel and escort you throughout Mykonos in order to introduce you to the island’s history and geography. The tour starts from Agios Ioannis, from where you can get a great view of Delos. You will then be taken to the famous village of Ano Mera and then continue to the beautiful beaches of Kalafati, Ftelia, Panormos or Kalo Livadi for a short swim, snorkel or just sunbathing. The most important part of the tour is when in Mykonos town where you start your exploration on foot. The walking tour starts at the old town and continues to Little Venice, probably the island’s most photographed corner. See the famous Windmills, the Cathedral Paraportiani and get lost in the mazy whitewashed narrow streets and alleys. Also take some time for shopping before going back to your hotel. Note that all transfers around the island are with a private luxury car/van.

Day 11

After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel by a Luxury Trips representative, for your private road transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Athens. Connect with your flight home, taking with you the sights, sounds, and memories of an incredible family vacation!
