Hildegard Jochelson is our Marketing Manager. A proud Namibian, Hildegard studied in Cape Town before working in market research and retail marketing. However, it wasn’t long before she realized that her true calling lay in marketing a product she genuinely believed in – Namibia.
Hildegard’s journey into tourism began with her love for travel and a desire to share the unique beauty of Namibia with the world. Since joining ATI Holidays, she has been dedicated to crafting campaigns that highlight the country’s stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage, all while promoting sustainable tourism. Her marketing efforts are designed to encourage responsible travel practices.
Hildegard says:
How did you get into tourism? My love for travel drew me to tourism, and I enjoy the idea of marketing a product I can truly back. Namibia’s stunning landscapes and rich culture make it easy to be passionate about my work. Hopefully, this enthusiasm is contagious through my marketing efforts.
What is your ‘must-have’ travel item? A hat and SPF 50. I’m a pale girl, but I won’t let that stop me from enjoying the Namibian sun. Sunburnt isn’t my best look, but being well-travelled certainly is!
What is your favourite Namibian destination and why? The Caprivi. It’s so lush and alive, a stark contrast to Namibia’s more arid regions.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Spaghetti bolognese, but it has to be my mom’s recipe.
